Casa Milà ‘La Pedrera' HouseEverything in this building is curved and undulating. Its originality and the techniques found in its development are unexpected throughout.
That is one of the best-known works of the architect Gaudí, which is one of the icons of Barcelona. It had been built between 1906 and 1912, and involves a succession of natural stone walls externally, as the interior has two decorated courtyards, columns and a variety of rooms. You can find large house windows and flat iron balconies set in to the undulating fa?ade. The building has been announced a World History, and it is the pinnacle of Modernist techniques and tendencies.
