The Hotel Roc Leo, in Mallorca, is ideally situated, only 9 kilometres from the exciting and beautiful city of Palma, a mere 4 kilometres from Palmaâs international airport and a stoneâs throw from the extensive and safe Playa de Palma beach.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and pay attention to their guests.
Unfortunately there are a few things I would rate average. Having four stars one would expect the hotel to have a bit more control over the buffet. Unfortunately I found myself on several occasions standing in front of empty trays, in search for either a glass or a plate or a cup. The live cooking was a disappointment as well. I tried a pork kebab and the meat wasn't cooked porperly. To my dismay I found a hair in my Paella.
Otherwise the breakfast and supper was tasty. The standard foods were served everyday such as bacon and eggs for breakfast and french fries and pasta for supper. But the chef cooks made an effort to add different additional dishes to the menue. From fish to meat to veggies... One always had a lot to choose from. The desserts were also a treat. Here the cooks made an effort as well to give the guests a variety.
The room was very tidy and spacious. We had a double bed at the side of the building. From the balcony we had a view of the ocean. The room is equipped with a TV, a safe which can be used against a fee, extra blankets, a fridge and a hair dryer. Unfortunately the water pressure was terrible. We thought it was the shampoo but after trying the shower in my bfs parents room we found out that the water on the 5th floor is terrible compared to the 4th floor. You need to rinse for 5-10 minutes in order for the soap to be completely rinsed out. Other than that the cleaning ladies were very friendly and did a great job at cleaning the room.
In the evenings the hotel makes an effort to entertain their guests with either singing or dancing. Every evening something different is organised.
All in all I felt comfortable and will be more than happy to book again with Hotel Roc Leo. However I feel the 4 stars aren't quite justified.

This is a lovely clean, modern, recently upgraded hotel. Attractive entrance reception with friendly staff greet you on arrival. Rooms small but well...
appointed with balcony. I paid extra for sea view but this was only through a gap in buildings so wouldn't bother with that again. Nespresso machine in room was too bitter to use but fridge full of soft drinks and beers was nice. Pool area good with extra green area for lounges. Drinks bar at pool area also well set out. Dining room is very spacious so there never a need to queue at least while we were there. Food was generally good with decent selection although we did get raw chicken one night.
On the whole this is a lovely hotel 2 minutes from sea front. The only drawback for us was the children dive bombing the pool and the large numbers of German young men who liked to take over the pool and wake everybody up during the early hours shouting on returning to their rooms.
I wouldn't let this put me off returning as we had a lovely holiday regardless of drawbacks.
